Darlene Johnson

Darlene Johnson has dedicated 44 years of service to the Federal Government. Her career has taken her from the Department of Social Services in Washington D.C. to the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, to NAVAIR’s Fleet Readiness Centers. She has served on the St. Mary’s County Commission for Women, the Commission for Social Services and served two terms on the St. May’s County Housing Authority Board. She is the Vice President of the Democratic Club, dedicating her time and talents as both an Election Judge and voter registration advocate with Souls to the Polls. Her lengthy list of current and past memberships includes Federally Employed Women, Black in Government, and leadership roles with the Equal Employment Opportunity Committee. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Unified Committee of Afro-American Contribution (UCAC), and was an executive board member with the National Association for Advancement of Color People (NAACP). She is a dedicated and faithful member of Restoration Free Gospel Church. As a single mother, she raised one daughter and is now a grandmother to three beautiful granddaughters.
