Apartment Options – Subsidized Rent

At this time, all apartments are filled through waitlists. Living at Cedar Lane is worth the wait!

  • Rents are subsidized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
  • Income limits apply
  • Age restrictions apply – must be 62 years of age or above
  • 10% of apartments are leased to adults under the age of 62 with a disability
  • Your rent will be calculated based on your household income, assets and qualifying deductions. Your rent will not exceed 30% of your adjusted monthly income.
  • Asset restrictions apply. Those with assets totaling $100,000 in value or more, and those who own real property suitable for their occupancy that they have the right to sell, do not qualify for HUD assistance.

Trash collection, water and sewer are included in the rent for all apartments. Security deposit is equal to one month’s rent. Pet deposit is $200. Cedar Lane is a non-smoking community.
