Beverly Stickles, President & CEO, Announces Retirement from Cedar Lane

Dear residents, staff and friends,

After more than 16 years of service to Cedar Lane, I am announcing my forthcoming retirement. I am also very pleased to announce Cedar Lane’s Board of Directors has named Mr. Eric Golden as my successor.

While there is never a perfect time for this type of transition, members of the Board and I have sincere confidence in Mr. Golden’s abilities and qualifications to assume the role of President & CEO of Cedar Lane.

Mr. Golden is an enthusiastic leader with more than a decade of experience in the operations, program design and fiscal management of senior living communities like ours. He has held executive roles at Towne Village Retirement Community in Vestavia, Alabama, Healthcare Services Group in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, and Mount Royal Towers Retirement Community and Health Center in Homewood, Alabama. He is deeply mindful of resident concerns, and places a strong personal emphasis on providing the best possible experience to the residents he serves.

Mr. Golden will begin his new role with Cedar Lane on February 22, 2021. I intend to remain on campus and work closely with him through a sufficient transition period to ensure he is fully integrated and our organization is well positioned for the opportunities and challenges ahead.

Cedar Lane is an amazing place. Outside of my family and closest friends, this community has been what matters most to me. Retiring from a community like this is an emotional rollercoaster, but I take great comfort in knowing that Cedar Lane’s next leader shares my passion for serving seniors.

Please join me in giving Mr. Golden a warm welcome when he arrives next month.

Sincerely,

Beverly Stickles, President & CEO
