LEONARDTOWN, MD (December 22, 2020) – Today the law offices of Baldwin Briscoe & Steinmetz (BBS) presented nonprofit organization Friends of Cedar Lane with a $2,000 charitable contribution.
“This year has been exceptionally difficult for seniors in our community. Choosing Friends of Cedar Lane as our beneficiary will help fund facility improvements, programs and activities that enhance the lives of more than 190 senior and disabled residents at Cedar Lane Senior Living Community,” said Samuel C.P. Baldwin Jr., managing partner of BBS.
Baldwin is also president of Leadership Southern Maryland (LSM), an organization that is near and dear to the hearts of the BBS team. In fact, the law firm boasts three graduates of the LSM Executive program, one of LSM Teen Leader Academy, and one graduate of the LSM Emerging Leaders Program (LEAP).
“Through our experiences with LSM, we recognize the overwhelming needs in this community. This donation is made in the spirit of our firm’s ongoing commitment to make a lasting impact in St. Mary’s, Charles and Calvert Counties,” said Richard Steinmetz, a partner at BBS.
Baldwin Briscoe and Steinmetz is a locally based law firm providing comprehensive legal representation tailored to the individual client since 1988.
