More Senior Snack Saks arrive from the Food Bank of Southern Maryland – third week in a row!

The Food Bank of Southern Maryland brought more smiles (and calories) to the residents of Cedar Lane yesterday with another delivery of Senior Snack Paks.  The mission of the Senior Sak Program is to fill the gap of hunger among low income seniors in St. Mary’s County MD. The bags are filled with senior friendly, nutritious snacks, and sometimes a little personalized note or joke. One resident said the bags contained goodies she wasn’t likely to buy herself, so it was a very nice treat at the end of another long week during the coronoavirus pandemic. Thank you to Brenda DiCarlo and her team.
